A & A
A & A Landscaping was founded in the summer of 2017 by Alex Tsemberis, a Sport Analytics and U.S. History major at Syracuse University. Alex, along with his VP and best friend Alex Seidenberg went to Montclair High School and both ran cross country and played varsity tennis.
The company started as five rising college freshman trying to fund their college education working for and training with Y Landscaping Design. Y Landscaping Design is a professional landscaping company lead by Yuliya Bellinger, who has a Master of Science Degree in Landscape Design from Columbia University and designs beautiful, intricate, and personalized gardens for her clients.
Last summer, Alex & Alex completed three unique jobs for Yuliya, planting over 170 plants at our first location, digging trees into a gravel driveway at the second, and finishing last summer shoveling 16 tons of gravel. We learned how to properly plant a wide variety of plants and trees; to remove plants, trees, weeds, branches, vines; and to mulch, weed, and trim expertly. Since those original three clients last summer, Alex & Alex now operate independently from Y Landscape Design and have worked at 13 locations around Essex County and have ten employees on our crew.

We have been well trained to plant trees and any type of plants our client desire. With A & A Landscaping, clients know exactly what to expect - professionalism, efficiency, and exceptional results. We also mulch afterward. Clients are expected to choose and purchase the plants they want. We prefer to use dark brown or black mulch.
